Assistent Accountant / Financial Reporting Analyst

The Assitent Accountant (Financial Reporting Analyst) contributes to the overall objectives of the Finance Department by providing in-depth financial analyses. The Assistent Accountant (Fiinancial Reporting Analyst) analyses economic and business trends, reviews company performances anticipating potential obstacles in order to forecast the company’s future financial results. The Assistent Accountant (Financial Reporting Analyst) contributes to the positioning of the local department as a professional, value-adding, trustworthy partner, anticipating and responding to internal and external customer needs and achieving high customer satisfaction.

 

Your job

  • Submit on a monthly basis the results of all company’s entities within the reporting environment;
  • Report legally required info to the central organization of the company, including IFRS rules as 15/16;
  • Evaluate current assets and investments by looking on return on investment;
  • To assist within the LE (“Latest Estimates”) process in forecasting and create reports;
  • To create, update and maintain financial models and detailed forecasts, more specific the KPI’s (Key Process Indicators);
  • Stay in close contact with your Team leader and follow all guidelines and team ethics;

 

Your profile

  • Educational background in finance (HBO / HEAO level);
  • Minimum two years of accountants experience and/or accounting orientated qualification;
  • Strong knowledge and skills set of professional IT literacy (SAP, Excel, MS office);
  • Excellent written and spoken Dutch, English and preferably French and/or German;
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and process dynamics and requirements;
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and extreme discretion in all situations;
  • Excellent collaborator with all departments and stakeholders;
  • Pro-active contributor, flexible and problem solver attitude;
  • Strong will to respect and meet deadlines at all time;
